 Technology at Central Elementary

Welcome! This is my 6th year of being the technology coordinator at Tioga Public Schools; this is also my 13th year of teaching. I've found that working with technology in education has been very exciting and challenging. My professional goal is to prepare our students for college and the future by using technology integrated into everyday lessons. I also assist teachers with their technology projects and professional development.

Part of the technology items used at Central Elementary School are SMARTboards, Senteo System (student-response system), and PowerSchool (Student Information System and web-based Gradebook).  Currently at the elementary school, we have a computer lab with 20 PC's available to students.  Students use this lab for multiple projects that include internet research, essays, and slide show presentations.  They also have available to them multiple software titles to supplement math, reading, and typing.
