The Knights of Columbus Free Throw contest to be held in Minot at Jim Him
Middle School on Sunday, February 2nd at 1pm, with doors open at noon for
registration. Good Luck!!!

Tioga Kindergarten Registration

If your child will be entering kindergarten at Tioga Elementary School next
fall, please stop by the school office or call before Monday, March 25th.
At this time, we only require contact information. Your child must be 5 on
or before July 31st, 2013 to enter kindergarten.

We will be contacting you at a further date about registration along with
additional information needed, such as a copy of your child's birth
certificate and immunization records. The readiness testing schedule will
be set at a later date.

Kindergarten enrollment numbers are needed at this time so administration
can make arrangements if the class needs to be split.

The MLS GBB game that was postponed has been rescheduled for
Thursday, Jan. 24th.  Varsity and JV beginning at 5:45.

 Farm Credit Services Awards Tioga Public School District $25,000

Farm Credit Services of North Dakota is proud to announce that is has
awarded the Tioga Public School District with $25,000 as one of the first
ever recipients of the newly established Rural Community Grant Fund
(RCGF). The grant funds will help provide temporary housing for teachers
as the community’s student population continues to grow.

Tim Schaffer, Tioga Public School Elementary School Principal, is pleased
to accept the check and utilize the grant funds towards teacher housing.“We are pleased to provide grant funds to projects like this in our rural
communities,” says Claude Sem, CEO of Farm Credit Services of North
Dakota. “This is what will help build the infrastructure that will only
strengthen our region,” he adds.Farm Credit Services of North Dakota, Farm Credit Services of Mandan and
AgriBank, established the Rural Community Grant Fund to assist in the
implementation and development of projects and programs in communities and
rural areas in western North Dakota which have been impacted by mineral
exploration.In the first round of applications, more than a quarter of a million
dollars was awarded to 11 projects to support western North Dakota
communities.The Rural Community Grant Fund is currently accepting applications for
future funding requests. Interested parties can apply at
www.farmcreditnd.com.
