The Tioga Tech Team is hosting a scavenger hunt for grades K-5. All students were sent a slip home with them.
Students will use the picture clues to find all the pumpkins with Buzzy's buddies and the letters to complete their sheet. All of the pumpkins are in the downtown Tioga area. Please be respectful and leave all the pumpkins with their clues in their spot so everyone can enjoy the scavenger hunt! Students can turn their completed sheets to their teacher Monday morning to be entered into a surprise drawing!
Happy Halloween from the Tioga Tech Team!

PARENTS of K-5 students!! With colder temperatures here, please send your child with the appropriate gear to school. Attached are the guidelines we follow when sending kids outside to recess. If you are in need, the Clothes Closet is open Tuesdays from 1pm-6pm or let the school know and we can reach out to them!
Remember we base off of the REAL FEEL temp, so if you are in doubt, just send the gear to school! We appreciate it!

Mrs. Gilder and Mrs. Shavi had the opportunity to spend this week at the University of North Carolina, participating in the TEACCH Autism Program training at the Living and Learning Center!
TEACCH is a research-based approach focused on understanding the unique ways individuals with autism learn, communicate, and process information. The training emphasizes structured teaching, visual supports, individualized work systems, and creating environments that promote independence and success.
It’s been a great week of hands-on learning, teaching, gaining new perspectives, and exploring strategies to better support students with autism.
They’re excited to bring these ideas and strategies back to the Tioga District!
