Today the 6th graders attended Eco-Ed. They learned about the importance of soil conservation, safety around electricity, and pollinators. Each student was able to make and take home a pollinator box. Thanks to the Williams County Soil Conservation District for the fun and educational day.

Volleyball action tonight! The Stanley Blue Jays come to town to face the Lady Pirates. JH matches start at 3:00. The back gravel lot, used for football and track activities, will be available for parking. With construction, parking out front is limited. Feel free to park in back, use door number 4 (door by the band and ag hallway/old weightroom) to enter the games. We do ask the fans that park out back to please walk through the school hallway to get to the main entrance rather than just slipping in the gym. Go Pirates!

Wow, what a night of learning Lego Robotics! These kiddos did awesome! They learned how to code their robot to move and go in certain directions. They successfully used various sensors such as distance, color, and touch. Then they all solved at least 1 mission from last year's competition board! Check out all the pictures from the Lego Robotics Camp on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61556092431282&mibextid=LQQJ4d

Parking is going to be more limited this school year due to the high school expansion project. For tonight's game, we will have parking on the south side of the field, which you can reach from Dean Avenue. Your second option can be to park along Linda Street and enter by the gate near the jumping pit. The third option is to enter from 105th Ave NW. A new approach has been constructed for parking in the back. If you are parking in the back this evening, please park in an organized manner so that traffic can still flow in and out.

Per the NDHSAA Spectator Ejection Policy On August 14, 2024 the NDHSAA Board of Directors approved a Class A Review recommendation to add a minimum penalty for spectators who are ejected from contests during the regular season. The policy was drafted by the NDHSAA Sportsmanship & Citizenship Committee prior to being approved. The policy is effective immediately and reads as follows: “Any attendee ejected from a regular season or NDHSAA tournament contest will incur a minimum three (3) game/event suspension from that team’s games/events and all other NDHSAA games/events in the interim at any level of competition. If the ejection occurs with fewer than three (3) games/events remaining in the team’s season, the suspension will carry over to the school’s sports season which immediately follows. An attendee ejected for a second time during a school year shall be suspended for a minimum of one (1) calendar year from all NDHSAA regular and postseason events. NDHSAA member schools may increase these minimum penalties at their discretion.”
