Thursday Night DLB/Minot Ryan/Williams County starting @ 5:00pm. We are limited to 160 home fan tickets for this event! Please stop by Tioga High School for your tickets or you can call Jayme @ 664-3606 to reserve yours. Full concessions will be served by FCCLA.
Friday Night Williams County Junior High Mixer starting @ 4:30pm. We are able to have 500 fans in the stands so no tickets will be necessary. The Firestorm Wrestling Club will be serving full concessions for their fundraiser at this event and we ask for your support!
Saturday Williams County Firestorm Varsity Tournament starting @ 11:00am. We will be able to have 500 fans for this event also so no tickets necessary. The Firestorm Wrestling Club will be serving Full Concessions for this event also and ask for your support!

The Juniors still have Pirate bracelets for sale. They can be adjusted to fit all wrist sizes. There are multiple color schemes available. All proceeds go towards the 2021 Prom.

Today's game schedule vs Stanley is as folows: JV Girls are at 3pm followed by the Varsity Girls at 4:30. JV Boys will play at 6pm followed by the Varsity Boys at 7:30.
All of today's basketball action is available to watch on the NFHS network. Tickets are required to attend today's game and are available. You will need separate tickets to attend the boys and girls games.
The free lunch and breakfast program will continue throughout the remainder of the school year. We encourage our students to take advantage of this program. Thank you.

Objectives for this assignment:
1. Construct an ornament that is Soda Shoppe-themed.
2. Use a particular color scheme when painting.
Tonight's JH, JV, and Varsity GBB games are available on the NFHS Network. The boys game should also be available on the NFHS Network through Lewis and Clark Berthold Schools site.
For the month of December the Character Counts pillar is caring. Our three students this month were selected by fellow peers. Maelyn Sanders 12 Grade, Casey Odegaard 9th Grade, and Savannah DeMoe 7th Grade. Congratulations to all three of you.
Today employees from Cashwise delivered gifts from the Angel Tree. Many students will benefit from the kindness of other this holiday season. Merry Christmas!
At the December 16 Tioga School Board meeting, the board voted to require students that choose to distance learn to change instruction from attending on Google Meets with the classroom teacher to the use of Edgenuity, an on-line program, starting January 4, 2021. Mr. Odegaard will be contacting parents of distance learning students in grades 7-12, and Mr. Schaffer will contact grades K-6 distance learners.
Students need to make a decision as soon as possible whether to attend classes at THS or Central, or to participate in distance learning. Please notify the school as soon as a decision is reached. We plan to begin distance learning classes on January 4. A monitor will be hired to oversee the program, and expectations as to attendance, work progress, etc. will be available to parents and students.
Students will not be allowed to attend in-person classes for music, PE, CTE, or any other programs in the school except library. Limited classes for elective classes are available through Edgenuity. Students will be allowed to participate in extracurricular programs. Students with IEP's and ILP's will still receive services and those will be worked out with the special education staff. Building administrators, technology, and counseling personnel will also be available for questions and assistance.
Students will remain eligible for free lunch that can be picked up at the elementary in the same manner as earlier this year.

Tioga Schools is seeking a part-time paraprofessional/aide to serve as a monitor for distance learning students that will be attending class on an on-line program. Position starts prior to January 4, 2021. For more information, contact Carolyn Eide, Superintendent, at (701) 664-2333. EOE
On Friday, December 18, Tioga will host its first home basketball game after the postponement of winter sports.
1. Our gym is limited to 260 fans due to size restrictions. At this time, we will only limit fan attendance to games where the visiting team has a large fan following. Right now, tickets will be required at the Stanley, Ray, Powers Lake, and Divide County games. Parents/family members of the players will be the first recipients of tickets, students second, and all other tickets will be available on a first come-first serve basis. For the December 18 game, attendance will only be limited once there are more than 260 fans in the gym.
2. Masks are required of ALL fans. Consequences of not following the mask mandate ranges from a letter of reprimand to potential suspension of post-season play. Please wear masks during the competitions and cheer on our Pirates! Thank you for your support.
Big shout out to all the Student Council members who helped organize the Christmas Tree Decorating for the Tioga Long Term Care Center. The tree and base were donated by Nathan Germundson, manager at Ace Hardware, ornaments were donated by the Tioga Community Members, and the lights were provided by the Tioga FFA. Tioga Student Council usually plays Bingo with the LTC Residents in December, but due to unfortunate circumstances we were unable to do so this year. Wanting to interact with the residents they came up with the idea of decorating a tree for all to see. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Reminder that if you still have Christmas gifts to wrap and you don't have enough time you can have the Tioga Close Up group wrap them for you!
The Close Up group is taking free will donations for wrapping gifts this evening and Thursday from 6-8 in the lunch room at the high school.
