Congratulations to the Pirate Volleyball team on their 3-1 victory over Burke County tonight! They will now face the Ray Jays on Monday at 5:30 in a Region Qualifier match at Stanley High School! Good Luck Pirates!

Any parents bringing homemade desserts for the fish fry on Sunday can drop them off during the afternoon sessions on Saturday.
The Volleyball team will play in an elimination match of the District 16 Tourney today in Stanley versus Burke Co. at 4:00. Good Luck Pirates!
The National Anthem will be great too as members of the THS Choir are prepared to sing for the tournament today as well.

THS Drama Club final rehearsals are taking place this week for "How to Kill a Mockingbird," a one-act comedy. Public performance is Sunday, November 3, at the Tioga Theater. Doors open at 3:30, curtain goes up at 4 p.m. All are welcome to attend!
Twenty-two of our high school musicians are in this group hard at work! Come to Williston State College tonight at 7:30 as they perform in our regional honor band and choir concert!

Halloween at Community Center
We had peculiar smell at Central today. So to be on the safe side we evacuated, had MDU check it out and found out it was nothing. We believe it was an odor from outside the building that got into our building through our fresh air exchange on the roof. Students received an extra extended recess today. Safety of all our students, parents, community and staff are of paramount concern to the school district, and we take it very seriously. We require your assistance to ensure the safety of all students and community. Please note the following and adhere to the procedures that are in place to protect the safety of students.
When dropping off or picking up your child, make sure to park your vehicle and do not wait in the middle of the road. This is a big problem in the mornings in front of Central.
During Pick up time on Main Street, we will have an Aide help on the crosswalk after school. Please do not park in the crosswalk and please use the crosswalk. It is tough for vehicles to see between vehicles when students/parents walk across the street.
Reminder you can drop off from Main street to the playground. We have aides on the playground starting at 8am.
Do not make U-turns in front of Central During School Hours of 8:00am to 3:45pm. (This is the busiest time for students to be dropped off or picked up.)
In Front of Central on Benson Street, we will have no parking from 8am-9am and again from 3pm-4pm.
This means you can only drop off or immediately pick up during these times directly in front of Central. We will have signs out to help.
If you need to come into Central in the morning, please park on the side streets or over by the playground side on Main Street.
