Website Notification of Interactive Insights Dashboard
North Dakota has an accountability system reported through https://insights.nd.gov/, also known as “Insights” or the “Dashboard”. Insights contains reports that display the performance of school districts, schools, and student groups on a set of state and local measures to assist in identifying strengths, challenges, and areas in need of additional support.
North Dakota Insights website is designed to help communities across the state access important information about K-12 districts and schools, including ours. Insights features easy-to-read reports on multiple measures of school success, including test scores, graduation rates, English Learner progress, and attendance.
Please note, data made available to the public masks or hides data for groups with fewer than 10 students to protect the confidentiality of those students.
For questions concerning K-12 education data, please contact the North Dakota Department of Public Instruction at https://www.nd.gov/dpi/contact-us-0 or at (701) 328-2260.
You may also direct questions regarding our specific district data to Carolyn Eide, Superintendent, at carolyn.eide@k12.nd.us or at (701) 664-2333.
Jim Upgren, Assistant Director of the Office of School Approval and Opportunity with ND DPI will be here on October 5th at 6 p.m. in the High School Library providing a parent information session on the North Dakota State Scholarship and the ND Choice Ready framework. The information he will provide is universal to all students in our state and applicable to parents of students in 7-12 grade.
The scholarship is worth $6,000. Its qualification requirements are aimed at increasing high school rigor and retaining college students in North Dakota. The new North Dakota Scholarship aligns with the requirements of the Choice Ready initiative. Choice Ready is a new component in the North Dakota Accountability system to measure whether our high schools are producing students who are ready for success upon graduation.
Jim will go into detail about the metrics of both the scholarship and choice ready. As you continue to work with your student(s) to set goals, monitor their performance in school, and plan for post-graduation, this information will prove to be useful.

Art II - IV, Photography, and Graphic Design students had fun at MSU NotStock today! Many made their own souvenirs. ALL received a compliment from the improv theater presenter for being so awesome at participating! We were so immersed in the entire experience that I forgot to take photos of our students (in action) until we got on the bus to go home!
