"We're making sandwiches in business class?!" Absolutely!
The students had a great time while better understanding the importance of giving very specific instructions. Some had to get creative making sandwiches without being able to put the jars down. Many had interesting PB&Js, but fun was had by all!

On October 30th, THS held its 2nd Bi-Annual Career Day. It was a huge success! Thanks to the 30 presenters that visited with our student body!

High School Parents:
With the availability of Report Cards being accessible on PowerSchool now, printed report cards that were not picked up during Parent Teacher Conferences are being sent home with students today rather than being mailed. If you picked them up during conferences, they will not be bringing them home. Please trick or treat with them at home and see if they are willing to share their report cards!
Happy Halloween!

Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we prioritize the safety of all students, we would like to remind everyone of some key safety measures when dropping off and picking up children near the school. It has come to our attention that the crosswalks at 4th and Benson are particularly concerning, especially with the changing light conditions this time of year.
Due to the early darkness after the recent time change, it can be challenging to see students crossing. This becomes more dangerous when students are coming from in front of or behind parked cars, especially those parked near the corners. Many drivers focus only on oncoming traffic, which can lead to students being accidentally overlooked.
To enhance our students' safety, we ask that you:
Check for students at all corners, not just cars – Take an extra moment to look for students who may be hidden near the crosswalk.
Be cautious at stop signs – Please turn and check each direction thoroughly before proceeding.
Be mindful of low light conditions – With the early darkness, visibility is limited, so please take extra care when driving in the school zone.
Your awareness and caution will be vital to keeping our students safe.
Thank you for your cooperation and commitment to our children’s safety.

Next Saturday, November 9th, the Elementary Physical Education Program will host an indoor golf driving range as the first of our five Family PE Nights planned for this year. For more information about this event, please check out the Elementary PE website at: https://sites.google.com/piratek12.org/tioga-k-6-pe/family-pe-night
