The FBLA kids have had a great time attending the National Leadership Conference in Florida! They've worked hard in their competitions, attended numerous workshops, and networked with members from around the country.

Summer is going fast and its time to schedule registrations!! Kindergarten screenings and New Student registration will be held on July 31st-August 1st from 8:45 am - 4 pm!
-Kindergarten parents... please follow the sign up genius link below and sign up for a slot. During this time we will also do all of your registration paperwork.

Jeni Hanson, Billee Sundhagen, and Taylor Brown spent the last week in Washington DC at WLC which is a leadership conference put on by the National FFA. They had a busy week of workshops and tours which will help them bring back leadership and experience to the Tioga FFA.






Congratulations to former THS students Emma Taylor and Gracie Nutt for placing at the FBLA Collegiate National Leadership Conference in Florida! Gracie placed 7th in Emerging Business Issues. Emma placed 9th in Community Service Project and 8th in Public Speaking.
Make sure to follow TiogaFBLA on Instagram as 8 high school members are also in Florida and will be competing in their business events in the next few days!


Katie Haakenson has been accepted to play in The Cup International Softball Tournament in the Netherlands. She will travel to Rotterdam, Netherlands to play with and compete against players from all around the world. All proceeds from these events will help fund her travel expenses.


Thanks to FLR Sanders and the THS custodians, the gym floor is complete and ready for use. It looks fantastic! Let's all try to keep it looking that way please. No street shoes and being mindful of where you are will help.

What a weekend!
Our first State Skeet Tournament went well. Our team finished 5th out of 11 teams. We had two shooters place in the novice division. Brennan Johnson took 1st place and Kannon Schaffer took 3rd place.
With 26 shooters, the THS Trap League made its second appearance at the State Trap Tournament. Our Novice Trap Team took 2nd place.
Abagail Ferguson was presented her award for placing 2nd in overall female for the regular season in our conference. Additionally Clay Placek hit a 25 straight.

No Volleyball Open Gym Today (June 12).

This week members of the THS Trap League will be in Horace to compete in the ND State High School Clay Target League. Our skeet shooters will shoot on Friday the 14th, and our trap shooters will shoot on Saturday the 15th. The THS gym will be receiving it's annual maintenance visit beginning tomorrow, June 12th. Floor prep work is being completed today. The THS gym is CLOSED for student use, open gyms, etc. likely through June 24th. If it can be opened up earlier, we will let people know. The Central gym may be used.

ND Roughrider “38” Health Promotion Conference
“LET THE HEALTH ADVENTURE BEGIN 2024”
Several educators and community members from the local area learned how to promote school, community and personal healthy lifestyle concepts at the 38th annual ND Roughrider Health Promotion Conference, May 28 – May 31, 2024, in Medora, North Dakota.
Shelley Ackerman CES School Counselor was 1 of the 175 participants registered. Schools and communities from across the state sent representatives to evaluate their school health and community programs and to develop action plans for making improvements. Various sessions offered were based on the components of Coordinated School Health including health education, physical education, health services, nutrition services, counseling, psychological, social services, healthy school environment, health promotion for staff, and family/community involvement. Additional topics included substance use prevention, character education, violence/bullying prevention, chronic disease prevention and professional development.
The keynote presenters included:

Steven Iwersen - “CHAMPIONS IN CHAOS”
