In December, the 7th grade keyboarding class had the privilege of welcoming Williams County Deputy Isenhower, who shared invaluable insights on online safety. We are incredibly grateful for his time and expertise in helping our students understand the importance of staying safe in the digital world.
Thank you, Deputy Isenhower, for making a difference!

Congratulations to Brennan Johnson, today he broke the single game scoring record for Tioga High School. He poured in 41 points along with 7-3 point FG’s made that helped the Pirates roll to an 80-50 victory over Berthold. Way to go, Brennan!
Tioga Lady Pirates defeat the Stanley Bluejays 58-41 at day one of the Berthold Shootout.
7th grade art students made ornaments for Pinnacle this year - truck stop themed, using specific color schemes. Unfortunately, they were not able to hang the ornaments themselves due to the weather, so I don't have a photo of their sweet, smiling faces, but the ornaments are now officially hung. Be sure to check them out when you swing through Pinnacle!

It is not ideal for a student to have 5 Semester Tests in a day, but it is also not ideal to have those tests wait until a January return. No students should be in the situation where they have 5 core, academic tests scheduled with the new schedule. Flexibility will be exercised by classroom teachers to accommodate student needs.
We know we will be missing many students for activities (Wrestling, BBB, Gymnastics) Friday who have tests yet to take. Students will work with teachers to take exams prior to early dismissal, where possible, or schedule them at an opportunity that works for both student and teacher. Exams not taken prior to the extended break, will be made up, as necessary, when we return to start semester two in January. We will also be flexible as to not overwhelm students over-testing on a single day.
This is not a good scenario, but working together, we can conquer the challenge!
Tioga Schools will not have school today (Thursday, December 19th) due to weather and road conditions. There will also be no after school activities.
Tioga Schools will have a two-hour late start tomorrow (Thursday, December 19th) and breakfast will not be served. We will evaluate the weather again in the morning regarding the rest of the day.
Reminder: The K-1 Christmas Program is today at 2:00 PM at Central. Doors #1, #2, and #8 will open at 1:30 PM. As school will still be in session, we kindly ask everyone to remain in the gym area. The program will also be livestreamed on our Facebook Live page. Thank you!
