Congratulations to Piper Moberg and Gracelyn Davidson who will represent the 7th and 8th grade classes of Tioga High School at the Williams County Spelling Bee to be held in Williston on February 22nd. Piper and Gracelyn will be competing to advance to the State Spelling Bee. Congratulations as well to the alternates Leah Placek and Garrett Bunker should Piper or Gracelyn be unable to compete.

Tioga schools and town of Tioga is without power. We are currently giving it a little time to see if the power can be restored shortly. We will provide an update soon on whether we need a two-hour late start or not.

Congratulations to the Tioga Tech Team on qualifying for State yesterday at the Fargo Qualifier! The Tioga Tech Team was part of the Runner-up alliance! They will compete in Bismarck on February 3rd!

The Cyber Madness Tournament virtual play-in kicked off today. Tioga's team spent all day working through challenges dealing with topics on encryption, network security, and programming. The competition closes Saturday night. As of 8pm tonight, Tioga Pirates are sitting 1st.
The top 20 teams in the play-in round get to compete in person in Bismarck next month.

Donkey Basketball was a major success! Thank you to the businesses that sponsored the event, to the riders for putting on a great show, and the community for venturing out into the cold! We look forward to bringing the donkeys back again in the future!









The junior high girls host Ray this afternoon with a 4:30 tip-off at the high school.
Good luck to the boys as they travel to Divide County to take on the Maroons! The high school girls will be practicing at Central at 4pm today.

Donkey Basketball is still happening tonight! The donkeys will enjoy getting exercise in a nice warm building. Brave the cold and let us do the cooking for you. Free will donation pasta bar and Chinese Auction starts at 6. Game starts at 7:30 with free donkey rides for kids during intermission.

Due to weather conditions, the girls wrestling tournament in Minot tomorrow (Saturday, January 13th) and the boys junior high and junior varsity wrestling tournament in Carrington tomorrow (Saturday, January 13th) is canceled. There will also be no wrestling practice tonight.
