Central students who achieved their 2nd quarter AR goals were treated to a delightful sledding trip on the hill near the Hospital. Gratitude goes out to the Tioga Med Center for generously supplying the students with hot cocoa and cookies in the long-term care area. Furthermore, thank you to Mrs. Ackerman for organizing a memorable outing for older Central students, who enjoyed a spirited game of BINGO at the long-term care facility last Thursday after school.

This is it! Tomorrow, Central Elementary 6th graders will be participating in the first ever live, interactive Symphony Orchestra performance with the Minot Symphony Orchestra!! We have been working diligently the past 3 months to sing, say, move, and play in this amazing concert series, "The Orchestra Rocks". The repertoire, music, and curriculum have been a wonderful opportunity for our students. I have included grades 4-6 in teaching this and it has been a hit!! We can't wait for tomorrow! Thank you SO MUCH to Minot Symphony Orchestra, and Carnegie Hall for putting together such an awesome, FREE resource to any of us wanting to use it. Once again, We can't wait to ROCK!!
