Congratulations to Tioga High School Juniors Karter Longie and Addy Norgaard on receiving the I Dare You Award! The National Leadership Award is presented each year by the American Youth Foundation (AYF). The award was first offered in 1941 by the late William H. Danforth, who challenged young people to achieve their highest potential and to influence others through their lives of service. The award is inspired by the book, “I Dare You” which commends the balanced life of mental, physical, social, and spiritual development as the backbone of leadership. This award recognizes high school juniors who demonstrate personal integrity, lead balanced lives, and possess a willingness to assume responsibility. The recipients are given a personalized certificate, a copy of the book “I Dare You” and the opportunity to apply for a scholarship to attend the American Youth Foundation International Leadership Conference. Congrats Addy and Karter!

Hello THS students and families! We (just about) made it! We do still have school next week, but will transition more to an intervention/enrichment mode; cleaning up and completing what has been assigned to this point. Students should still be logging on and checking in to Advisory through Wednesday at least. New material may be posted, but nothing new as far as content academically. Thursday, May 21st and Friday May 22nd, we will have check in of school materials (to included Chromebooks AND Power cords) at both Central and the High School. Our plan is to have people available from 9:00-3:00 except 11:15-12:45 as to not interfere with lunch pickup at Central. HS students with items still in the locker rooms, this will be an opportunity to gather those as well. Look for more information to follow from Mrs. Eide concerning end of year plans. This is graduation weekend for some area schools. On behalf of Tioga High School, Congratulations to all area graduates! We are also beginning to prepare/setup for our Graduation on Sunday, May 24th. I have attached a picture just to give an idea of how it will look. Seniors, be watching your piratek12 emails for further details. Cap and Gown pickup and deposits - Jayme is planning to be at the school for seniors to pick those up ($40 deposit) on Wednesday from 9:00-11:00. Just a reminder to seniors and their families, if you are needing additional seating to the 6 persons per table, please contact me via phone or email so that bleacher seating (social distancing) can be prepared in advance as well. To all teachers, students, parents, and community members, "Thank You" for all of your cooperation, support, and assistance during the past 9 weeks! We have just about completed the 2019-2020 school year. Make sure to finish strong! Keep sailing! Land is in sight. Mr. Odegaard

A quick reminder-if you are unable to pick up lunch for even one day, or if you wish to be removed from the lunch program, call Tonya or the school at (701) 664-2333. The school will let Tonya know. We can't save food from one day to the next so it it ends up in the garbage. Thanks for your help.
