Mr. John Halligan is currently completing his second student assembly, Ryan's Story, to the 9-12 students at THS. It is a powerful message addressing Bullying/Cyberbullying, mental health, and suicide prevention.
Reminder and encouragement for all parents and community members to attend his session this evening at 7:30 in the THS gym! He would love to share his thoughts with you.
Pastor Booth’s, Sara’s, and Dolly’s bus route drop off times this afternoon (Monday) may be later than usual. Dolly’s riders will be split between the other two routes because we can’t find a driver for her route. We appreciate your patience!

Robotics team meeting is scheduled for Thursday, August 29th at 7 PM in the high school library. Students in grades 5-12 interested in participating and their parents are encouraged to attend. For more information, contact Sarah Klug or Bridgette Odegaard at the high school.

The first day of school at THS yesterday had some great moments. One of them was at lunch time. There were a few students who saw others eating alone and asked them to join their group. Powerful! Yesterday no one ate alone. Today - more of the same, no one ate alone. Impressive! 173 more days of no one eating alone.
Central Students received shirts and water bottles. Thanks to all the sponsors!!!

Very short notice, but any high school students that would like to hear a great leadership presentation, you are welcome to be at the high school at 4:30! Mr. Tom Cody spent today with our staff and would like to speak with as many students as possible. 4:30-6:00.
Thanks to everyone that came to help move today. With all the help, it only took 2 hours to move things into the classrooms. Again thanks, it was greatly appreciated.

Reminder to High School students - if you need to finalize your class schedule, or if you have not registered yet, PLEASE stop in and see Mr. Odegaard. Friday afternoon would be a great opportunity to do so! (Or yet this afternoon if you are available) The first day of school is a difficult time to complete these tasks.
Staff has P.D. next Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The 2019-2020 school year begins Thursday, August 22nd!
Mover Volunteers wanted!!! We are planning to start moving into the newly remodeled classrooms at Central on Sunday, August 18th at 1pm. This is the earliest that we will be able to move in and any help will be greatly appreciated. We are hoping to only move on this one day, so we can get teachers into their classrooms and get ready for school to start on Thursday, August 21st!!!!
