The Queen Bees take on the Foxy Chicks this Saturday at 4:00 on the HS football field. These rough and tough ladies are ready to RRUMMMMBLE!!! There will also be a few adults from the community taking part in the game. You won’t want to miss this exciting event!! $5 admission and all proceeds support the FBLA chapter.

Below, is information we received regarding the volleyball games in Powers Lake on Tuesday, September 29: Powers Lake Spectator Guidelines COVID-19 2020 Spectators: These guidelines are subject to change at any time. Our guidelines for our volleyball games are as follows: 2 Game Night: *Each Powers Lake player whose team is playing will receive 6 reserve tickets for that game. If two players are siblings, they each will each receive 6 reserve tickets. *For the visiting team, each player will receive 2 reserve tickets. *These reserve tickets will be mailed to the visiting team. * Extra tickets may be available on a first come first serve bases. 3-4 games a Night: *Each Powers Lake player will receive 3 reserve tickets. If two players are siblings, they each will receive 3 reserve tickets. *Each visiting team player will receive 2 reserve tickets. *The coaches will give each Powers Lake player their tickets the night before the game. The reserve tickets must be paid for when the ticket holders enter the game venue. Each person entering the game must be counted and must have a ticket. This means everyone age 1 (walking age) to adults would need a reserved ticket. *On nights where we play 3 or 4 games, we may ask that people leave the school after they watch their child play the Elem. and/or Jr. High games unless they have a daughter playing at the JV or Varsity level. The reason for this is that we need to make room for the parents, players, and fans of the home and visiting teams who are involved in the JV and/or the Varsity games. We also need to stay within the State Guidelines for the number of spectators we can have in our gym. *All fans at the ballgame need to stay in the gym unless they are going to the concession stand or to the bathroom. We cannot have kids wandering in the hallways. They must be in the gym or at home. Please help us show respect for our janitors and their work to clean and sanitize the school for the safety of our fans, teachers, students, and school personnel. Locker Rooms: *For football and volleyball 2-game nights, the home and away teams will use the locker rooms. On 3 or 4 game nights, the home teams will dress in classrooms and the visiting teams will use the locker rooms. Athletes may shower at school if they wish. Live Streaming: All Home volleyball and basketball games will be livestreamed on the Powers Lake Public School Facebook page. Game Personnel: FOOTBALL: The football coaches, the chain gang, and the broadcasting crew will be encouraged to wear a face covering. VOLLEYBALL: The game personnel at the scorer’s bench must wear a face covering. The only people allowed at the scorer’s bench will be the clock keeper, home bookkeeper, and the libero tracker. Concessions: Concessions will be served. They include pop, popcorn, and candy. The lunchroom will not be open so food will be eaten in the gym. These are unusual times. Our ultimate goals are for our students to stay in school safely and for our athletes to play their complete sports’ season. Thank you for your help.

This Saturday, October 3rd, at 4:00 there will be a Powder Puff Flag Football Game held at the THS football field. You won't want to miss this entertaining event! $5 admission and pop, popcorn, and candy concessions will be served. All proceeds support the FBLA members. Hope to see you there!

The Tioga Tech Team is holding a Halloween escape room, Mad Lab, and would like to invite the entire community to come and participate. Group sizes are recommended to be 4-8, but can have up to 10. We are charging $15 per person at the Community Center. For Saturday's volleyball matches in Garrison the following protocols are in place: Masks are required for those in bleachers. Players & bench do not need to wear them during the game. Fans are to write down their name and number for contact tracing purposes. Those sheets will be destroyed after two weeks. Concessions will be available at the game. Information will be posted about how to follow the game online in the next 24 hours.

It's Homecoming Week at THS! The Volleyball teams will be in action tonight against Divide County. JH matches start at 3:00 to be followed by C-squad, JV, and Varsity.
