The JH Music concert scheduled for next Thursday will not be held as a public performance due to quarantined students and large crowd gathering size limits. We will have a concert performance in school, performing for high school band and choir students and any older siblings that may be in school. The concert will be streamed over the NFHSNetwork (the camera is functional again), however that link will not be publicly shared. Look for information coming home from Junior High students. The date is TBD at this point.

Just a friendly reminder of bus safety. Please read attachment. Main points to discuss with your son or daughter is sitting in their seat on the bus, keeping their hands to themselves, watching their language and being respectful to the bus drivers. With the weather changing it is important for students to act accordingly on the bus, not only for their safety but the safety of other students and the bus driver. Also make sure students are properly dressed to get on the bus, busses do break down. It is a privilege to have bus service and if your son or daughter can not follow the rules they will be removed from bussing. If you hear of incident let the bus driver know or school administration so we can pull the cameras and view. Thank you for the help in keeping our kids and bus drivers safe. #Pirate Pride!!!

Just a friendly reminder for your sons or daughters that ride the bus. Bus drivers are working hard to keep them safe, especially now that the weather is changing. With the weather changing make sure to have students properly dressed for the bus, busses do break down. Please remind them to sit in their seats, keep their hands to themselves, watch their language and be respectful to our bus drivers. We do have cameras on the bus, so if we need to watch a camera please inform the bus driver or school administrator. Bussing is a privilege and can be taken away to ensure the safety of students and bus driver. Thanks for the help with keeping our students and drivers safe. #Pirate Pride!!!!

Attendance for this afternoon's volleyball game vs Powers Lake is not open to the public. Each player has been given two tickets to be disbursed as they see fit. A reminder from the NDHSAA that masks are required of the spectators and that they are asked to try and socially distance themselves from one another. GO PIRATES!

Tioga High School Parent - Teacher Conferences held virtually Oct 26-27th This year, Tioga High School will be hosting fall parent-teacher conferences virtually on Monday, October 26th, and Tuesday, October 27th, from 4 to 7 PM. Meeting with each teacher will be done via Google Meet (video-conferencing online) or by phone. Parents are encouraged to schedule their visits by choosing a time slot on individual teacher’s calendars. If you choose to meet with a teacher by video, you will need a Google/GMail account, create one if you don’t have one, or you can use your student’s Piratek12.org account to schedule. If you prefer to conference with a teacher by phone, please email the teacher or call the high school at 701-664-3606 to schedule a call. A list of all teachers’ calendar links, as well as a list of their email addresses can be found by going to https://tinyurl.com/THScallink You can view a tutorial on how to schedule by going to https://tinyurl.com/THSPTC2020 Also, you can ask your student at home for help in scheduling! They certainly have become more fluent with technology in the last few months. While we wish we could meet face to face and apologize for the late notice, we are willing to make changes to keep our students and staff in school as much as possible. If you have questions, please contact Mr. Odegaard at the high school. Brodie Odegaard

Parents please drop of students on school side of Benson Street heading north. Take the extra time and go around the block. We have had a few close encounters with students running out across the street while parents drop off from the middle of the street. Do not park in the middle of the road to drop off or pick up your child, please pull over and park. . Please do not do U-Turns in front of Central during arrival/dismissal. With the weather turning and roads having snow/ice, it takes a little more time to stop. A Majority of you do a Great Job, but it only takes one time to have an accident. Any questions please contact Mr. Schaffer at the school. #PiratePride!!! thanks
